Thinking Inside the Box
Who says an office has to be drab and boring? Mixing the smooth lines of modern with the excessiveness of Victorian detail gives the best of both worlds. This office with conference area is functional and up-to-the-minute but comfortable with its use of wood and a warm color palette.

Literary Traditions
Books bring the world to your doorstep, and this library is rich with the echoes of far off lands and adventurous interests. International flavors include Ming-style Chinese armchairs, an antique settee from Romania, French wallpaper and custom paintings created by the designer. A large, intricate mahogany birdcage provides a centerpiece for the setting.

Treasures Near and Far
Rich autumnal colors and fabrics inspire creativity in this special writing studio filled with inspiration and treasures from around the world. The black Besarabian kilim rug bespeaks the Mideast and sets the color scheme in tones of deep gold, red and green. The console table is Asian, while seagrass woven chairs whisper of distant islands. Settle into the leather chair to journal your dreams.

All Things Considered
This understated space is rich in details, but tranquil and relaxing in overall form. It's casual elegance combines sleek lines of contemporary pieces with classic traditional style and ethnic accents for an "easy living" retreat. From the warm, textured fabrics to the selected furnishings, the space is inviting yet practical for day to day use. Key to blending an eclectic mix of furniture, artwork, and accessories, is the consideration of all elements of design.
